Born in Tokushima-city, Shikoku, fourth largest island of Japan, facing Seto Inland Sea. Graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo. Worked with a Japanese bank for nearly 40 years, including 10 years overseas mission. Spent 5 years in California, and 5 years in Hong Kong.

• Used to play golf a lot, ex-skier, ex-baseball player, now enjoy jogging, participate local marathon competitions, and learning social dancing.
