Message

Almost 50 years ago, I was moved by the three-story pagoda in Yakushi-ji Temple located in the oldest capital of Japan, Nara. Later I learned that this pagoda was praised as frozen music by Ernest FENOLLOSA. Since then, watching architectures have been my hobby. In Tokyo, I recommend visiting Meiji Shrine. Just at 8 am and 2 pm, a huge Japanese drum is beaten as a sign of breakfast or lunch. The vibration makes us spiritual in the sudden silence. And there are lots of architectures designed by Prizker Prize laurereates stand in rows at Omoresando and Ginza which I would like to introduce.
Viva ! Exciting city Tokyo.
