If you're an expert traveler, you can visit most of the highlights in Tokyo on your own. I'm there for you to take you to the places where you'll never make it alone.
Yanaka is one of the places where you can stroll along the narrow winding street and mingle with the local people at the shopping arcade.
Kagurazaka features its labyrinthine stone pavement. Let me show you another narrow secret passage where a floating world still remains.
Shiodome is the most modern part in Tokyo, but not yet the tourist spot. I'll take you to the secret observatory to show you the Tokyo Bay which you'll never be able to experience without my assistance.

We had a great day with Kiyomi. She took us to several neighborhoods, and gave us background information about them. We specifically asked to go shopping for fabric in Nippori so she took us there. She spoke of Tokyo residents, Japanese culture, and gave us interesting facts. Kiyomi shared information about herself and family as well. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. It was a very good tour!

My wife and I took this tour on 2 Nov 13 and had a fantastic day. We have recently taken individual walking tours in Istanbul and Barcelona and were very much looking forward to meeting Kiyomi and learning about Tokyo and life in Japan. She gave us one of the very best tours we have experienced. Not only did we visit exactly the kind of out of the way and non-touristy areas of Tokyo that we wanted to experience, but we were also able to draw on her experiences with living in the city and bringing up kids. This additional social information was fascinating. We would strongly recommend the tour!

My family took this tour with Takako and it was really wonderful! :) Takako is such a sweet lady. She brought us around patiently and explained the interesting facts about the places. My family is a bunch of foodies, she introduced us to some great street foods and authentic affordable restaurants! She even helped us out when we needed to buy supplies and train tickets. A really great tour to invest in! Most places in Tokyo: Shibuya, Shinjuku, Fish Market, you can get around with the help of the internet. But I'd say you'd kind of need a tour guide to bring you around these areas: so it's pretty worth it!
